The increased size offers the benefits of a mobile speaker design in a form factor capable of stronger audio output. The CS40-01P50-04-1 is designed with a low resonant frequency of 500 Hz while most mobile speakers in this dimensional range only achieve a resonant frequency of 750 Hz minimum.
