Flexible Printed Circuit Mobile Speakers

At Challenge Electronics, we have engineered a new line of cutting-edge mobile speakers using flexible printed circuits. The CS20-01P60-02-1 and CS16-01P88-02-1 offer lower resonant frequencies and greater reliability when compared to standard mobile speakers.

Technical Advantages
Design Reliability

A FPC is mounted around the diaphragm for electrical routing removing the need for internal solder joints within the speaker’s acoustic chamber.

Lower Resonant Frequency

With more available space for acoustic operation and diaphragm vibration, lower resonant frequencies are attained as compared to standard mobile speakers.

Reliability

As the solder joints of the voice coil to the FPC are located planar to the diaphragm, less stress is placed on the joints during diaphragm operation.
